Bama Reptiles & Ranch is a locally owned reptile specialty store. We want every customer—and every animal—to leave set up for success. Please inspect all animals and merchandise before completing your purchase.

Live-animal sales are final, subject to any written health guarantee and applicable law. Any health concern must be reported to us within 24 hours of purchase, along with photos or video and proof of purchase. We may require an examination by a licensed exotic-animal veterinarian before offering a replacement, store credit, refund, or other resolution.

We cannot be responsible for illness, injury, escape, loss, or death caused by improper housing, temperatures, humidity, feeding, handling, transportation, cohabitation, neglect, accidents, or exposure to other animals after the animal leaves our care.

We make every reasonable effort to accurately identify each animal’s species, sex, morph, genetics, lineage, feeding history, and condition. Only information specifically stated in writing as guaranteed is considered guaranteed.

The buyer is responsible for confirming that the animal is legal to own where they live and for obtaining any required permits. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a sale when we believe the purchase may be unlawful, fraudulent, unsafe, or not in the animal’s best interest.

Unopened and unused dry goods may be returned within 14 days with proof of purchase for exchange or store credit. Feeders, frozen food, opened substrates, used equipment, clearance merchandise, and special-order items are non-returnable unless defective or otherwise required by law. Manufacturer defects may be handled through the applicable manufacturer warranty.

Deposits and hold payments are non-refundable unless Bama Reptiles & Ranch cancels the sale or agrees otherwise in writing. Online listings do not reserve an animal. An animal is not considered sold or held until payment or an approved deposit has been received.
