1. Buyer Responsibilities

1.1. The Buyer must request any additional information, photographs, videos, or other details prior to purchase. By completing a purchase, the Buyer confirms satisfaction with the information provided.

1.2. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring they can provide proper care for the animal for its entire life.

1.3. The Buyer is responsible for verifying that they can legally possess the animal under all applicable local, state, and federal laws, as well as any restrictions imposed by landlords, housing arrangements, or personal circumstances.

1.4. Failure to comply with these responsibilities does not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or return.

2. Shipping

2.1. All shipments are conducted through a third-party shipping provider specializing in live animal transport.

2.2. Shipping dates and methods are determined according to the recommendations of the shipping provider, considering weather conditions and animal safety.

2.3. An agreed-upon shipping date may be established between the Buyer and Seller to accommodate both parties; however, this date does not override the requirements in Section 2.2.

2.4. The Seller may delay shipment at their discretion if conditions are unsafe.

2.5. Shipments are sent only to the Buyer’s nearest FedEx Ship Center (hub) for pickup. Home delivery is not permitted.

2.6. The Buyer must retrieve the shipment from the designated FedEx hub on the day of arrival; failure to do so voids the live arrival guarantee.

3. Health and Live Arrival Guarantee

3.1. Animals are sold as advertised regarding health, sex, size, weight, and physical appearance. The Buyer is responsible for accepting these descriptions prior to purchase.

3.2. Animals are guaranteed to arrive alive, healthy, and correctly sexed, unless otherwise noted in the listing.

3.3. The Buyer must notify the Seller within two (2) hours of pickup from the FedEx hub with photographic or video evidence of any issues.

3.4. Failure to provide timely notification constitutes acceptance of the animal and voids the live arrival guarantee.

3.5. Once the animal is in the Buyer’s possession, responsibility for its health, care, and husbandry transfers entirely to the Buyer.

4. Genetics

4.1. Animals are sold as advertised, including all listed genetics, traits, and descriptions. The Buyer is responsible for reviewing and accepting these characteristics prior to purchase.

4.2. Genetic identification is based on pairing records, lineage, and phenotypic characteristics to the best of the Seller’s ability.

4.3. Recessive traits are guaranteed.

4.4. Heterozygous traits are guaranteed only when listed as 100% heterozygous. Possible heterozygous traits (“pos hets”) and incomplete dominant traits (codominant/dominant) are not guaranteed.

5. Payment

5.1. Payment must be made in full prior to shipment.

5.2. No payment plans are offered under any circumstances.

6. Refunds and Returns

6.1. Refunds will be issued in the following cases:

 a. The animal is dead on arrival (DOA) or exhibits demonstrably poor health upon receipt, verified by photographic or video evidence provided within the notification period in Section 3.3.

 b. The animal materially differs from the descriptions provided and what was purchased, including size, weight, sex, or listed traits, provided the claim is reasonable and accounts for slight variability inherent in living animals, verified by photographic or video evidence provided within the notification period in Section 3.3.

6.2. Returns are not accepted once the animal has been received and acknowledged, except as described in Section 6.1.

6.3. Refunds are not provided for issues arising from improper husbandry, failure to follow care recommendations, or circumstances outside the Seller’s control.

7. Weather & Seasonal Holds

7.1. Animals are shipped only when temperatures at the origin, destination, and any transit hubs are within safe limits, generally between 40°F and 90°F.

7.2. Shipments will be delayed until conditions improve if temperatures fall outside these limits.

7.3. The Seller will hold purchased animals at no additional cost until shipping conditions are safe.

7.4. The Buyer agrees that animal safety takes priority over shipping timelines and that delays due to weather or carrier restrictions do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.

8. Acceptance of Terms

8.1. By completing a purchase, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions in this policy.
