HEALTH
All animals are honestly represented and 100% healthy at the time of delivery. Animals are guaranteed to be free of mites and ticks at the time of shipment.
GENDER GUARANTEE
Every effort will be made to properly sex animals, but please be sure to confirm the sex upon receipt.
GENETICS
Summit Serpents identifies the genes of our animals based on our experience. We strive to differentiate between guaranteed genes and presumptive possible genes in our postings. We can only guarantee that multi-gene animals with presumptive genes will be identified to the best of our ability and we will NEVER intentionally mislead or deceive a customer regarding the genetic makeup of an animal. All customers should understand the risk associated with purchasing an animal with a theoretical or presumptive identification. Sometimes the animal you end up with may prove to have a different genetic makeup than anticipated. The genetic makeup can only be proven through breeding trials. We digitally track the pedigree of all animals we produce, back to our original breeding stock. As we prove obscured and heterozygous genes, we will strive to update customers. If there are any questions, please feel free to ask about the parents.
The goal here is to ensure a fair transaction for both parties.
The only guarantee that anyone can make regarding Theoretical IDs is mistakes will happen, presumptions will on occasion prove false.
SHIPPING
When receiving an animal shipment through FedEx:
- The customer must pick up the animal shipment at their closest FedEx customer center. This is the safest method of shipment since it avoids the delivery truck where most delivery mishaps occur.
- Shipping is a flat $65 per shipment during most of the year. Shipping in conditions where temperatures are below freezing is $85 per shipment.
- Customers will be provided a tracking number and should pick up the animal promptly after it arrives at the customer center and becomes available for pick up.
- A photo ID is required at the time of pick up.
- Animals are shipped by FedEx Monday through Wednesday only. Shipment dates may be negotiated for the welfare of the animals.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
If for whatever reason you are not happy with the animal you receive, you must notify Summit Serpents within 48 hours for a refund. The customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs and arrangements. Animals must be returned 100% healthy at the earliest possible shipping date. The animal may be held in quarantine upon return for a few days to ensure it is healthy before refunding the cost of the animal. Summit Serpents can assist in educating customers on the care of our animals, but it is ultimately the customers responsibility to maintain the health of the animals they purchase. We may cancel a transaction if we determine that a customer lacks the proper experience or facilities to care for an animal.
PRICING AND PAYMENT OPTIONS
All prices are subject to change and Summit Serpents should be contacted to confirm any listed price. As these animals mature and gain weight they also gain in value. Therefore, prices may be adjusted accordingly. Summit Serpents will honor any price that was agreed upon during negotiations of the sale. Package deals and discounts are always available. Payment shall be by PayPal, money orders, and certified checks. Due to the increase in online fraud, all checks and money orders will be held for 7 days.
