Shipping
Animals can be shipped anywhere in the continental United States and live arrival is guaranteed. Buyer is responsible to check the regulations in their receiving state, county, and city prior to purchasing the animal(s). Animals will only be shipped Tuesdays and Wednesdays when weather allows for safe shipping. A flat rate fee of $75 USD will apply to each box shipped. Shipment to a FedEx Ship Center for pickup is preferred. When shipping to a FedEx Hub, live arrival guarantee is voided if buyer fails to pick up the animal within 8 hours of delivery. Home delivery is also available but buyer must be available to sign for the package or live arrival guarantee is voided. Hognose Habit is not liable for unforeseen delays due to FedEx errors, nor any delays or non-deliverable packages due to incorrect address provided by the buyer. P.O. Box, APOs, or FPOs are not acceptable forms of delivery addresses. Local pickup is also available in the greater Reno/Tahoe area. In the unlikely event of a DOA, a time stamped video of the deceased animal must be taken within 2 hours of arrival for live arrival guarantee to remain valid.
Payment
Payment accepted through PayPal and Square. Payment plans are on a case by case basis; a 20% non-refundable deposit is required to hold any snake and buyer has 30 days to complete payment.
Guarantee
All of our animals are guaranteed to arrive healthy and mite free. All animals have eaten a minimum of 10 consecutive unscented f/t meals unless otherwise stated. Quarantining new animals for a minimum of 90 days is recommended. Please contact as soon as possible if any health related concerns arise or if you have any questions throughout the ownership of your hognose.
The animal you purchase is the exact one in the provided pictures and description. Due to strict quarantine practices, after the animal(s) has been exchanged to the buyer we cannot accept exchanges or returns.
Temperament
We will do our best to assess an animal’s temperament for a perspective buyer, but we cannot guarantee how an animal will react in a new environment or in every circumstance. Any animal with a mouth can bite and it is the responsibility of perspective owners to be aware of the potential risk.
